Bridal Hair & Makeup Shoot!

Hope your having lovely Sunday, today I thought I'd share with you a little post, of a few shots from a recent bridal shoot! I had the chance to do my own take on a makeup and hair look which would be perfect for a spring/summer wedding! It was super fun and I loved creating the look, it was so feminine and natural, great for a special occasion...

Make-up products I used:

Face
Loreal nude Magique Blur Primer
Loreal True Match Foundation - Beige

Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer - Light

MAC Prep and Prime
Urban Decay De-slick Mattifying Powder
Sleek Contour Palette - Light

Eyes
Naked 3 Palette
Loreal Telescopic Mascara
Loreal Superliner
Eylure Natural Lashes

Lips
MAC lipstick - shy girl
MAC lustreglass - love nectar

Hair
Babyliss Boutique Curling Wand (My favourite for big bouncy, curls or waves)
A few flowers, if you can't find the right colour, try and look for an artificial flower and add a clip. This is what I done and it turned out lovely, very simple but adds a nice touch.

A few tips I would recommend when thinking about bridal make-up:
  •         Keep it nice and natural, you want to be comfortable in your own skin
  •         Think of products that will be long lasting, find a good primer which suits your skin
  •        You want to have a nice natural glow, but remember to try out products that work well with the camera, especially a flash!
I am certainly not a professional, especially when it comes to bridal make-up but this was great fun for me, especially to try out products and find the perfect shades and brands which work well for me and what I would recommend for any special occasion. This is a long lasting look which is natural and elegant and will look great with any colour theme!

This was a great experience for me and I love how the images turned out!
I hope you enjoyed this little read and if you have tried any of the products, let me know how you found them! I'd love to hear all about your favourite long lasting make-up recommendations you use for either or a wedding or special occasion?

See you this week with a new post!
