The In-Shower Gradual Tan! | St.Tropez

The minute I heard about this new gradual tan from St,Tropez I knew I had to try it! A self tan which you apply in the shower and wash off 3 minutes later? No smell, or sticky product left on the skin! This just seemed too good to be true...

It comes in a large 200ml bottle and I love the packaging, clean and fresh just how I love my St,Tropez tan! I love the mousse self tanner which I've previously spoken about so couldn't wait to see the results of this product!

Firstly, to use it you take a good amount of the product and after you have washed, apply it on the skin in circular motions. You see a layer of the product like a light moisturiser left on the skin and then leave it for 3 minutes, I left it a little longer just to make sure! You then rinse it off with warm water and get out the shower! I gently pat my skin dry with a towel, as although you can't see the product I'm sure you will be rubbing it off if you go too crazy with the rinsing and drying afterwards!

Your skin feels great after applied, nice and moisturised and I left it throughout the day to allow it to develop and I have to add didn't notice much of a smell like you do other tans! But unfortunately, after using it a few times I couldn't see a huge difference! Don't get me wrong, you do achieve a hint of colour which is great for those who don't like or are used to a self tanner! But when I self tan, I want to see the colour and achieve a good even colour over the skin, so this doesn't work for me. I think it may be different for various people and skin types because I know people who have had a great experience and really love it!

Overall, I do think it is a good product for a nice glow, or when you have already self tanned and need a top up when it is fading, which is what I've been using it for! But if you like a darker and more noticeable tan, I would suggest going for the St.Tropez mousse self tan, it still has the number 1 spot for me when it comes to a great self tan!

Have you tried this product? How were your results? :)

The City That Never Sleeps! | Part 2

Here is Part 2 of my New York adventure, looking back makes me want to do it all over again! It's true this is the city that never sleeps,  24 hours a day it has the most stunning views and when the lights are on and your taking in your surroundings the feeling is like no other!

We went on a night time bus tour, taking us around Soho, Little Italy, China Town and Brookyln! The city and bridges lit up was amazing..

Times Square - From theatre to shopping to food, it was just like what you see on TV, I loved walking around and taking in all the atmosphere!

There was so many things to do on an evening to get away from the heat and to relax after a long day! A few things we seen were Wicked, Les Miserables and a Liberty basketball game and a tour at Madison Square Garden!  I loved Broadway, I knew it would be so interesting for me with loving performing so much but I was honestly amazed. It was crazy how many theatres there were and the talent that you seen on a daily basis! Especially when watching Wicked (I even cried!) it was like my dream, the performers were flawless, I would recommend anyone to go and see it we loved it!

A little tip: we got the seats for wicked in the middle row at the end in the front mezzanine, they were a little expensive but not as much as a lot were and the seats were the perfect view! Also book beforehand for this show, it is very hard to get a ticket when your there luckily we had ours!

The Statue of Liberty! - We even got to touch her - cool right?! ;)

The 9/11 memorial & museum - It was breathtaking seeing the world trade center tribute and remembering all the lives that were lost on that unforgettable day.
'No Day Shall Erase You From The Memory Of Time'

There is so much to do in New York, these are only a few of the things we got up too on our trip! We went on lots more tours, museums, Madam Tussauds, The Ride and many more... But like I said on my last trip get the New York Pass, it was amazing and gave you entry into all main attractions, including everything you've seen and loads more!

I feel so thankful I got the opportunity to go here and see such an amazing place, the feeling you have when your walking around and the memories I got to make were indescribable! Thank you James for such an unforgettable 21st birthday present, I can't thank you enough!

I hope you enjoyed these posts showing you some moments from my trip, watch out for a new post coming very soon on my hints, tips and recommendations for a first timer in New York City!

If you have the opportunity, visit New York it is full of magic and bigger, brighter things, not just the buildings! It gave me inspiration and was a place where anything seems possible...

New York, New York! | Part 1

All about my trip to New York City | Hints, tips, and must see's

Hello, I'm back! I feel like I've been saying that a lot lately, but this time I mean it! This week I got back from my holiday to the wonderful New York! This has been at the top of my travel list for a long time and last October on my 21st birthday I was the luckiest girl in the world and got surprised with a holiday there for the summer off my boyfriend! One of the most memorable days ever, which I will never forget and couldn't wait to jet off to this beautiful city.

First of all I have got to say, no pictures can show the beauty of New York. From the moment I got there it took my breath away, from the atmosphere of the busy city and huge buildings around you! To the tranquility as you walk around central park, this place is unlike anywhere I have ever been. I don't know how I managed to cut down a thousand photos that we took (not exaggerating!) but here is part one of my trip, I hope you enjoy looking at some of the special places and moments of my time there...

From Central Park to the streets of Manhattan the talent and creativity was never ending!

We spent one morning cycling around Central Park, you don't have to always be amongst the hustle and bustle this was the beauty of this city!

This was a lovely, small but perfect zoo to stroll around, on a hot afternoon! From bears to penguins it had some amazing animals tucked away in a section of Central Park!

Grand Central Terminal - This is a must, just like this, the buildings here are amazing, mixed old and new the city has so many places to look at and admire! Let's not forget visiting all these places and remembering scenes from movies and TV programmes which are in most places in NYC!

National History Museum - I had to go, especially when your familiar with the movie 'Night at the Museum' which was shot here!

The top of the Empire State building was a moment I will never forget seeing the city from that high above ground was breathtaking and I couldn't believe I was there!

These were just a few of the attractions and places we visited, we had the New York City Pass (click to find out more) which allowed us access to nearly all the main attractions and trust me we made sure we done everything we wanted and more and when having this pass, it saved so much money! We would definitely recommend it!

Watch out for a new blog this week for Part 2 of my adventure, where I show you some different places we visited and the memories I captured! As well as hints, tips and recommendations for a first timer in New York will be coming soon!

New York definitely stole my heart...

Get Sleek & Shiny Hair! | OGX

We are always hunting for those hair products that give you a salon finish and leave your hair looking and feeling amazing for days, but at an affordable price! ( Well I'm definitely one of these people - that's for sure!) Well look no further, I have found the next best thing to those all expensive salon brands!

I have been using the OGX - keratin oil shampoo and conditioner for over a month now and I am so happy with the results! I am pretty sure this is not a new brand and has been available for a while now, but I have never had the urge to buy it until recently when I got recommended it and then noticed that it was often sold out in shops or very little stock - and I always take that as a good sign!
So this told me I had to try it, it doesn't take much for me to purchase hair products, especially when it says it is going to make my hair stronger and prevent breakage, I'm all for that!

They are  £6.99 per bottle so a little more expensive than your average shampoo/conditioner but are a bargain compared to the bottles you get in a salon! As you can see on the front of the bottle it contains great ingredients including keratin proteins and argan oil  which will help with shine and strengthening the hair! It is quite a thick substance and you only need a little amount - one problem I do find is the packaging, it is so difficult to get the product out of the bottle with it being so thick, especially towards the end! One tip I would suggest is using a tiny amount to cleanse the hair and then shampoo and conditioner as normal as this well help achieve a better lather!

The smell is lovely, nothing to overpowering just a fresh and clean scent! When it is rinsed off it feels lovely and smooth and I leave my hair in a towel for a while before drying (otherwise it takes me forever to dry!) Every time I style my hair after using these products I am very impressed, my hair looks and feels so shiny and smooth, as if I have just walked out of a hairdressers! I feel the style stays in much longer so you don't need to use heat a lot between washes. My mam has even tried it and I noticed the difference straight away after she styled her hair, it just makes your hair look so much healthier which makes such a difference - she has now become a big fan!

I feel like these products will be staying with me over summer, I can't recommend them enough! When it is time for a change I will definitely be trying more products from the OGX collection, there are so many to choose from for all hair types and containing different ingredients! But for now these are definitely my favourite hair products!

Have you tried any of the OGX range? What are your thoughts? :)
