Dinner at Disney's Yacht Club & Boardwalk!

It's time for a new Disney post and I thought I would share with you one of the first meals I had, which was at The Captain's Grille  at Disney's Yacht Club resort, which is beautiful and serve the most amazing food, scroll down and be prepared to drool at a few of the photos..

Along with our package we had the Disney Dining Plan which allows you to have a quick service meal, a table service meal and a snack - each day! This means you can dine anywhere within Disney and included this meal at the Yacht Club (plus a lot more which I will be sharing with you on my blog!) if you are looking to travel and stay in Disney I definitely recommend getting the plan it saves so much money and the food you can get and all the restaurants you can choose from are unbelievable...

I ordered the NY strip steak in cabernet reduction, which came with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted mushrooms and oven-cured tomatoes! I have to say it was really tasty one of the best meals of the holiday!

For my desert I chose the chocolate cake, which came in three layers with hazelnuts( they were glazed and tasted amazing!) and salted caramel sauce! It was a little too rich for me so I couldn't eat much, I probably wouldn't choose it again but the presentation was lovely.

The rest of the family chose the cheesecake - which I wish I had got,  I had a try and it was lovely and I loved how it came with the fruit and a side of ice-cream such a nice touch with the different flavours!

The resort looks just over Boardwalk so we had a walk after dinner which was lovely, a great atmosphere and beautiful to look at! It's great to use the resorts as well as the parks and downtown to eat, the variety is endless and it's nice to relax and enjoy the themes the hotels have to offer! Plus the resorts around Boardwalk are great, just a short walk into Epcot and you get to see the fireworks from Boardwalk - we watched them as we were walking around after dinner, which was lovely!
There is a lot more to Disney than the parks, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much, there is something for everyone!

Watch out for more travel posts coming very soon, from the parks to the restaurants to the resorts, I have a lot to share with you! :)
