Keeping That Summer Glow! | Clarins Golden Glow Booster

Happy Sunday!

Today I thought I'd share with you a product which I have been LOVING since my holiday (I can't believe I didn't know about this sooner!) & it is something I think is a must for those of you wanting to keep that summer glow lasting as long as possible...

I purchased the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster on the plane on the way home from my recent trip to Portugal, I had been reading about it on the way out there and thought it sounded amazing!
One of the things I love about going on holiday is how great your skin feels, being make-up free and catching the sun makes me feel so much better and confident, that I feel I don't need to wear foundation at all during holiday or when I come back.
But after a week or so of being at home and adjusting to the weather conditions my skin suddenly changes, especially my face, as the colour fades and I no longer feel glowing, that's when I normally need to start applying make-up to match the rest of my body!

That was until this product came into my life, since the day I went on holiday 3 weeks ago I have been foundation free and my skin has never felt better! A few nights a week I have mixed in 3 drops of this radiance booster into my night cream, which turns it into a gradual tanner without the smell or stickiness and you wake up with a lovely, natural colour and glow to match the rest of your body. I feel confident without any make-up - and when I want to wear something, I just apply a brush of mineral powder all over the face to stop shine and add little coverage.
It is a small product (which was a shock at first, I thought it wouldn't last two minutes) but the drops are so small it barely goes down at all, so it is definitely worth the price! So for those of you who want a little natural colour to your face without a fake tan or make-up, pick up this up - you will not be disappointed, it is now a statement for my summer/holiday essentials!
Have you tried it, what are your thoughts? :)

My Little Trip To Portugal!

Hello everyone!
Last week I got back from a family holiday to Portugal so I thought I would share with you some images with a quick recap of my week away!  It was relaxing, beautiful and there were amazing blue skies everyday (you can only imagine how I felt coming home to a week of rain!) If you are looking to go somewhere this summer - I would definitely recommend Portugal, it is one of my favourite places to visit!

Hope you enjoy the pictures...

We stayed at Eden Resort - Albufeira (Old Town) in a 3 bedroom villa it was lovely, up the hill and out of the way - but still very close to the old town with a 15minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride! The villa was great, set in a lovely resort with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen and living room - it could sleep up to 8!

The resort also had 3 pools, including an adults only pool (pictured below) which was perfect for a relaxing afternoon!

Nothing beats a night in the old town, entertainment, music and a great atmosphere!

We visited Vilamoura for the day which was beautiful, definitely a little quieter than Albuferia - but would be perfect for a relaxing break away!

I had such a fun week with the family and it definitely got me excited for my travels this summer (which is coming up super quickly!) nothing beats a relaxing time away, with beautiful weather and beautiful surroundings!

Portugal I will be back...

A Mascara & Lash Tint All In One! | Rimmel Volume Colourist

Hello Everyone! I'm back from a lovely week away to the beautiful Portugal with the family! It was perfect, so relaxing and a lovely place - I was definitely sad when I landed in the UK to this awful weather!

This week I thought I'd share with you my thoughts on the new Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara which I took away with me -  a mascara and an eyelash tint all in one, it sounds like the perfect summer mascara so I was super excited to give it a go...

The mascara wand is a classic bristle brush and applies nicely, the consistency isn't wet or heavy and layers evenly making the lashes spread and appears clump free. I wouldn't say this is the best for applying multiple layers and it does leave a natural finish - for those who like a lot of mascara or a false lash look this probably isn't right for you. But for just adding some length for a natural look it is perfect! Although I have dark hair my lashes and brows are fair so I normally have to always dye my lashes before a holiday, but this time around I thought I would leave them and let this mascara work it's magic. I am very happy to say it has definitely worked, without make-up my lashes are a darker brown - not as dark as they would when I normally dye them but definitely darker than usual!

I thought this was a great summer mascara, not heavy, very natural but give my lashes a tint so they appeared darker without make-up. This is perfect for holidays - but remember to keep in mind if you want thicker, fuller lashes and aren't too bothered about the tint, one of Rimmel's other mascara's might be better to fit your needs!

Have you tried it yet? What were your thoughts? :)
